We took the car ferry so the distance from the terminal is longer than from regular ferry but the latter is definitely a walking distance - you simply follow the main road towards Playa Norte and when it ends at the roundabout by the Playa Centro you just continue on the sandy small narrower road (we were the one of only 2 cars there driving, everyone else was on a golf cart) that leads you all the way to the Chichis And Charlies where your check in desk is located.
