To be honest, I think the J.Cat Beauty Noche Eyeshadow Palette has more of a fairytale forest vibe while having some of the best metallics Ive ever tried its also only $8.00. I would say thats the most lacking aspect of the premade palette.
Sydney Grace Final Quest (P, $6.00) is lighter (85% comparable). Soften Cosmetics Nailed (PiP, ) is lighter (90% comparable). There have been indicators of fading seen after eight hours of wear and tear.
I personally keep it at 110 or 120%.

I thought Maroon was a good choice since its a neutral shade but the pink shimmer in it pairs well with both the browns and the reddish purples. The Lorac mattes and what they call their diamond shine formula, have always worked perfectly for me but their original metallic formula contained citrus oils that Im allergic to.

MAC Bamboo-zled (LE, $17.00) is much less shimmery (90% comparable). Thats why Im still pleased with the Lorac mattes overall, because they still give me something, but to get the colors to show true to whats in the pans is where the time and effort comes in.

The older ones were smooth whereas these current shimmers are creamier with more slip to them; theyre almost wet to the touch with a finger, but I can feel the grit from the sparkle shades when I apply them to my eyes.

Use the included key to remove the pan from the palette and place it where you like. I would have preferred some mauve shimmers to match the mauve mattes or a deep brown shimmer.
