Stayed July 2018. The large beach was perfect and the pool gave us a place to play into the evening.

It would be nice to have another walk-in type shower for those with limited mobility (theres only one; the other showers are all in bathtubs). We loved the big dining table that could accommodate our whole group. Then it was a quarter-mile quick trip to pick up groceries and a 2 minute walk from the house to choose from 4 or 5 great places to grab dinnereverything is so convenient. There are also many updates to the house decor; its still adorably whimiscal (we love the themed rooms!) Stayed October 2015, We gathered at this most entertaining home to celebrate our 50th anniversary as nursing graduates. We rent Casa Banana every year and it has become one of the highlight weeks of our year. One of the nations most beloved travel destinations, Charleston is a veritable living museum of historic sites and landmarks. As part of this tradition, we stay in Casa Banana every year as we could not ask for a more perfect vacation rental! Had such a fun week!

We also used the service to have towels and sheets changed at mid-week with excellent results. Clean, well appointed, with every amenity you could imagine. They already want to go back. We will meet again, Pirate! The property was perfectly located for IoP experience. We could offer more details about the home and the way it was decorated, but going to the website and viewing will be much more fun than reading our description. 5/5 Thank you Casa Banana. Well, this house has it all. This browser is no longer supported. The house is clean and well maintained. (would probably make a few Iron Chefs envious!) After a quick and easy check-in, our group of 10 friends were blown away with the unique interior design of this home. We LOVE the upgrades to the kitchen. We live in Charleston and look forward to our staycation at our wonderful beaches.

My suggestions for improvement would be: a second dishwasher (hard to fit but would be a big help), some extra bath towels, and please get another recycling bin (or two)! This was our 3rd year in a row at a Casa propertyfirst at Casa Margarita, last year at Casa Flamingo and this year at Casa Banana, We loved each one but I have to say I think Casa Banana is my personal favorite. The house was great, the pool was great, the beach was great, everything was great! We cooked on the grill each night and picked up shrimp from Geechies Seafood dock at Shem Creek for shrimp boils. The kitchen is a gourmet cooks dream with new appliances, cookware, sinks, two stovetop a, new countertops and decor.

Tina Smith (property manager) was/is Amazing!!! Spend your vacation basking in the sun and surf at this beautifully updated, third-floor villa with views of the ocean! We had our family Thanksgiving here, and we cooked up a storm. The kitchen/eating area/living area is great for huge groups like ours, and the pool/beach set up cant be beat. Also it would be nice if a shower curtain or doors could be added to the downstairs shower stall; right now its unusable. We have also stayed in the green house. The management company was quick to respond to calls regarding minor issues of a burned out light and a minor hot tub issue. Cant wait to return again and again! Weve been back 2 weeks and are still talking about our stay at Casa Banana. Overall, we loved the place and definitely plan to return to Casa Banana or one of her sister houses. The property manager, Tina, was wonderful and did everything she could to accommodate our group for early check in/ late check out times. Elevator measurements: the elevator is 30 x 41. Just enjoyed a fun filled weekend with twenty close friends at the gorgeous and whimsical Casa! The kids enjoyed everything about the house and our time there.

The kitchen supplies are a great asset. Stayed August 2016. Actually, maybe I shouldnt, as we want to make sure its available for our trip next year. It was a pleasure to have your group as our guests. Stayed June 2014. . but feels updated and a bit more relaxing. One of our favorite vacation homes ever!! Plenty of plates, drinkware, utensils, pots & pans everything needed to create meals for a crowd. The house was so fantastic with our own lovely pool and the warm ocean and sandy beach at our doorstep, that we had a hard time getting motivated to leave the property to go sightseeing! Amazing house!? Stayed April 2019. Beach, pool Wonderful memories! The weather wasnt conducive for us to enjoy the beautiful pool, but the brand new outdoor hot tub gave us the outdoor relaxation we were looking for. Charleston was a quick 20 minute drive. Were honored to have your group as guests in our home each year! We had 6 kids 8 & under who enjoyed the pools & the little ones thought the kids pools were great & it made it easier for the adults to watch them. The pool by the beach couldnt be beat. Guests found themselves in the foyer bathroom for 15 minutes, just reading all the things on the walls and laughing! Charleston was fun with lots to do. For visitors who feel the need to tear themselves away from Isle of Palms gorgeous expanse of sandy beach, the historic city of Charleston is just a 20-minute car ride away. You will love everything about it and will never want to leave! Our family had stayed in Banana once before, but it was a first for other family and friends, and everyone was pleasantly surprised and just loved the decor. The house was comfortable and clean. Loved the garage for storing all of the beach and pool items. Easy to get to from Charleston airport, the beach is your back yard and the Isle of Palms area has every amenity you may need. Beachfront, pool with a kiddie pool, the kids loved it, we really enjoyed our week here. Perfect house and location. Stayed April 2018. We will be back!

We rented the casa next door as well and that worked perfectly for our big group. Wed love to come back. (Theres only a small boom box type player in the game room, so bring your own if you want portable tunes). In a week, we only left 3 times!

Its close to shops, IOP Connector, restaurants and grocery store. We love the kitchen! Stayed September 2019.

And the rental company was fast to respond and repair the small issues that arose (a broken toilet flusher and a stalled garbage disposal.) The original plan was to be there last September, but Mother Nature changed our plans when the storm shut everything down. Were honored to have your family as guests in our home each year! The only note is to bring a sense of humor and adventure and your own music devices. Words cannot describe how much we LOVE Casa Banana the location, decorations and all the small details that truly make it feel like home. This house is truly amazing! I cant recommend Casa Banana enough. We especially enjoyed the outdoor patio and pool area, which was larger and better furnished than any other beach rental weve stayed at. Stayed July 2017. We spent much of our time at the house catching up and enjoying the oceanfront view. Our kids wont stop talking about the house. With a large pool, hot tub and plenty of deck and poolside seating, theres plenty of room.

A big plus- the elevator. Id highly recommend staying here. :). Best week Ive had! My husband and I were married in IOP a few years ago, and return each year to celebrate our anniversary. This home was a perfect set up for our multigenerational family. We all had a wonderful time! The house is fun and whimsical and a joy to just walk around in. 5/5 Stayed June 2016. Stayed August 2018. . We are repeat guests and will be so again. Casa Banana is fun! To use the elevator there is a $750 refundable elevator deposit required. Casa Banana was the perfect beach getaway. We also loved the game room, as it gave us a couple of gathering options for those who wanted to play and the living area could be more relaxed.

Our group had a wonderful time at Casa Banana. Stayed June 2017. Our multi-family group enjoyed the beach-front location and the proximity to all the Isle of Palms has to offer. Numerous tours of Charleston were planned, but once they saw the house all were content to stay put and just enjoy the beauty of the beach and the comforts of the home.

The location cant be beat oceanfront with terrific views from all ocean-facing rooms, our own pool and hot tub to enjoy, and the fun of all the different themed rooms.

It was very clean and well-kept, and the location cant be beat. Bedrooms are comfy and roomy. Nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway, the Isle of Palms is a classic family-oriented island getaway. Recycling is only collected every other week and our bin was already half full when we arrived.

We rented Casa Banana, Flamingo and Margarita for our beach destination wedding week.

Thank you so much for the Southern hospitality. The beach and pool are great. This was our second time staying in the property. The house has been significantly updated since our last visit. While the house does not have the more upscale luxuries we have had in the past , the location and general sense of fun made for such a great trip. . , 5/5 Our annual girls beach weekend just ended and we could not have been happier with Casa Banana and even more so with the property manager, Tina, who is a complete delight to work with. A few years ago we also stayed in Casa Flamingo and enjoyed it too!! , 5/5 The house is great and the location is amazing!

The decor is pretty outlandish but we knew that beforehand and found most of it fun; the only somewhat objectionable part was the Rock and Roll room, which has quite a few drug (marijuana) references and led to some interesting questions from the kids. Loved the double kitchen and labeled cupboards. Casa Banana was such a great house for all of us to get together! Everything we needed was at the house. We even rented a nice selection of beach toys for the kids. Heres how this homes value estimate compares to similar homesnearby. The themed rooms made everyone feel like a kid again! Management was a delight to work with and very accommodating. The location is ultra convenient to everything.
