That shows me that the hotel really doesn't care. The sheets were very hard almost rough. Had dinner at the Outback Steak house in the casino. The lady helping me out was full of smiles. There were only three people behind the counter to check people in and there were plenty of check in stations that should have been staffed. For me, the river is the main attraction. Aquarius sent me two free nights,but when I tried to check in they told me 12:00 PM was to early and that check in was at 3:00 pm.My next attempt was at 1:30pm and I was told a room was available, but on a less desirable lower floor and I could wait a little longer and get a better room at a higher floor. It's a small bar off to the side, but with video poker games at the bar (to include some nickel poker machines). Can't beleive they couldn't find us a king..I also made sure their pool was open. My wife and I had reservations for 2 days, 8-6 and 8-7 and we have been coming to this hotel/casino since it was the Flamingo.
We were on the river by day and in the air conditioning by night. Gambling old school would be nice to see some electronic crap, roulette etc all slots. Nothing had gone right so far during this stay, so at the very least we wanted to take a dip in the hot tub which was marketed as staying open until midnight. This is a low class casino. They have two towers, an Adult Only tower and I'm guessing though it's not identified, a family tower. The staff was very helpful! We went for a golf vacation, but the Aqaurius does not have a golf package program like some of the other hotels on the strip. Very smokey casino. Overall, the property was nice. We wouldn't go elsewhere.. We've been coming for quick getaway weekends for the past year and this is by far the best hotel! Restaurants - pretty much horrible. I looked around and noticed that some of the other agents were stoic as well. Tub/shower combo. But if I had paid the $75-150 rate that seems typical from their website, I would be very unhappy. Very nice hotel with a great location in Laughlin. The check in line was rediculous for a Tuesday, really? the casino and lobby are very nice and there is an outback steakhouse which you can order room service from to be delivered to your room. There was a musty smell in the room. We like the location, walking distance to centrally located shopping mall and other casinos. But I slept very comfortably. The river walk was great and you are sitting at the startand rate was really good. Definitely recommend if you want a nice place to play while in town. Super sucked. Had an awesome stay. They have bowling, bingo and a theater. I found the stay to be just perfect in a number of ways so I would highly recommend it. I was unimpressed, overall. Have to pay extra for faster internet. She gave me nothing to sign but asked for $250 in my card saying it was got a deposit, and would be returned at the end of the stay. It's a very basic pool. Excellent Accomidations. We'll. We did the dinner cruise on the river which was great. Not enough variety of vegetables or salad fixings; meat dishes were lacking in many respects. Rooms decent, view is nice. Great place if you don't want all the hustle and bustle of vegas, the casino is every bit as good as the ones in Vegas bit without the high limits, rooms are spacious with everything you need in them, the river view rooms are worth the little extra for the view, also parking is free (not a chance in Vegas unless you're off strip) the walk along the river is lovely and you can stop in and look around the other casinos on the front as you go, there is also a river boat bus that goes up and down the river at regular intervals, free live music is offered regularly also, we like it here because it's a more chilled out vibe than Vegas but has everything we need and like. Two things I definitely like. There were only a few people there. The pool area is lovely and clean with plenty of beds although I will say that at peak time there will be a shortage. On what was supposed to be our 4th day we left and checked in at the Laughlin River Lodge. Like, deal with it. The hotel is not currently offering daily housekeeping, a fact that was not shared with us until I called when housekeeping hadn't appeared in two days.
The location is very good, overlooking the Colorado River. Been years since I was in Laughlin in December. I also enjoyed a wonderful auto collection at the neighboring casino, Riverside Casino. On arrival looked a lovely big hotel. Our meals were deliscious.
The location was perfect! The restaurants were decent and the free drinks on the gambling floor was plentiful. Will look for a different hotel next year. Doing the right thing, we brought it up to hotel personnel and an Incident Report was filed. The room was clean and we had a great view of the mountains. Disgusting.
The guys were jjetskiing on Sat. For best view book south tower, south facing. Great value for the money! Plenty of dining options ranging from Subway to high end Italian. There are a number of nice restaurants at all different price levels. The king size bed was comfortable and we had free wi-fi, which was ok. You get a better wi-fi if you pay a daily fee. Bed was abit soft forus. Outback is amazing. Parking is a nightmare. The staff was casual at best. Desk and chair, dresser and a separate oversized chair. We do not like these so called "Resort Fees" as it's just a profit making fee. After traveling from Virginia Beach i decided to make my last stop in Laughlin for one night, i always stay at the Aquarius on trips to Laughlin .Check in was very long we finally got a room not paying attention to the bill i went up to my room after a closer look at the bill i noticed i was charged a resort ,ten dollars plus tax,the very reason i stopped going to Vegas,i won't say i will never go back i will just go local a lots more.The hotel is in need of some sprucing up as a long time patron some of the rooms are showing a lot of age,i don't know if all Laughlin hotels are on the resort fee band wagon but i heard a few complaints ,also too many dogs their policy used to be service dogs only. I would stay here again if there was a conference, as the rate is cheap and the rooms are clean. We made our reservations several months in advance for a better rate during the River Run. We are thrilled to see that you were able to take advantage of the variety of amenities, attractions, and restaurants that the Aquarius offers. My husband and I went back to Laughlin after 20+ years. The room was a decent size but it definitely had seen some better days. Everything is great about this resort starting with the prices. Was told it was a known problem with several rooms. Went to the casino played for hours I got asked for a drink request twice. It's one of the nicer ones on the river. Well located, the rooms were nice but not wow. ALLOT of kids!!! John from the roulette table missed two of my chips and wasn't paying out people correctly . This time we booked a river view room and the view was amazing. The boat and RV parking is across the street so there are not people walking through the lot for no reason. Great car valet service. An employee approached us and sternly yelled at us we can't smoke that because of the non smoking signs which were the average size of a hand posted to the walls which we didn't see. The only other issue is that some of the restaurants had a multi-hour wait which was crazy. Taking a shower nearly turned into a bath. Our room had some issues. This made me so relieved and happy! There are no soaps or shampoos in the bathroom and the light fixture just inside the door was missing a light bulb. What I didn't realize that in slow season a number of the restaurants in the hotel would not be open. After about 20 more minutes spent at the front I was FINALLY able to get cell service and call the hotel booking company to get our reservation number and the front desk finally accepted that. Tried again with same result. If you like the smell of weed, this is the place to stay (sarcasm). The hotel has free valet parking which I liked. At that point the hotel did admit their error and are supposedly refunding my MC with the $20 overcharge. s mandated that everyone. Being with her parents, sober and well-dressed was obviously not enough. Didn't see any one doing any extra cleaning. I tell them I want to extend my stay and use travel card. Despite a follow up from me, nothing was done until I involved Master Card. I never use valet parking due to what I have in my vehicle---it must remain locked and keys in my possession. But there is plenty to do, the rooms were fine and clean, and I had fun without breaking the bank. This experience at the Aquarius was actually the worst hotel experience I have ever had anywhere in my entire life . 3. We had a handicap accessible room that was huge and my wife was able to negotiate the room in her wheelchair without banging into walls. Even though I don't usually win, it's one of my favorite places to play in the casino. Companion & I arrived on a Monday & were surprised at the crowd. We pretty much had to stay within the casino/hotel the entire time due to it be 115 degrees outside! The thing that urked me is the constant smell of pot on the floor ( it was a non smoking floor) I complained to security, but as you know it is tough to pinpoint what unit it would be. Also since we dint know what had gone on in our room we asked for bedding to be changed .they won't do that but sent us up linen to change it ourselves. Quick drink service and live band music in background-or to dance to. The restaurants inside are very good. Casino had non smoking areas and was clean and well kept. Don't miss it. On a Thursday night, it was incredibly busy, (which is awesome to see!). I enjoyed a nice walk along the Riverfront in the evening and check out was quick and simple. Getting seated is not one of their strong suites. Called the front desk and we were told we could move to another room.
Many of the destinations resorts have put together a thorough health and wellness plan based on the advice of health and government officials. Decent buffet which includes a couple of beersshame I was driving to vegas immediately after for last night before returning home. The king room was basic but had everything one would needflat screen TV, frig, Keurig type coffee maker, hair dryer along with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, and bar soap. We have visited many different casinos across the country, but by far Aquarius at Laughlin has been the most welcoming. Not sure about their mysterious connection with Best Western, but the rate was better than excellent! Clean, friendly, just wish the slots had been nicer to us.
I want to say this USED to be a GREAT coffee shop but my last four stops in there have solidified my belief that lack of service, lack of servers, lower quality of food and supervisors is now the NORM. The bathroom is clean, the shower fixtures are old and it leaks.
Slots were older models and we decided we wont be visiting that facility again. We had food at the Panda Express it was very nice and plentiful and they were willing to give a sample of food if you weren't sure what to order. The casino and room were very clean. They have coffee maker in the room. At night we had to keep our curtains closed because right under the window were three huge spotlights that were blinding when you attempted to look the window. The only positive about this hotel: The bell hop service and the valet. Complimentary bottled water provided. After having experiences like this so often in my recent travels, it's good to know there are places that are willing to accommodate us with an early check in. We snagged a great deal on wotif for the Aquarius in Laughlin. Stayed on a Monday and Tues eve. Are Laughlin casinos open? We seen one set of people go out and play for like a half hour for our entire four days. We came to the room and the bed is crippling hard. It was clear that they had put in some renovations and overall the room was clean and well-kept. This was always our go to hotel but we are going to try a different one next time. In November 2021, the United States lifted pandemic travel restrictions allowing fully vaccinated foreign nationals to travel to the country. Casino was about average for an older small town casino. The guest service lady gave it to me. Great hotel on the river!!!! Beds were comfortable. Things our room didn't have: 1. a clock 2. toiletries (some bath soap please!) We left the car there and a friend took us to harrahs for the night. Had to call management. Food at the buffet was OK. Casino was OK but i am not much of a gambler. Really?
You wouldn't even look at his paperwork and told my husband he wasn't a service animal because he has a stroller! Our view of the river and other hotel/casinos was excellent! First off the staff is awesome! Parking is fairly simple. Our rooms for big bright and clean the AC worked fantastic. Angelique checked us in. Then we were woken abruptly In middle of night (12:30am) by loud fire alarms and intercom message announcing to stay calm lasting about 20 mins. Sports Book is now William Hill ugh. Unfortunately there were only rooms with the 2 queens left, but we took it. VERY disappointed that both the buffet and the nice dining option (Vineyard) were closed until late December.

Would have been another two star experience again if we did not opt for upgrading to the Majestic Suite. The rooms are larger as compared to other of the hotels in the area. Will I stay here again? WHT? I recommend this hotel and resort strongly as is very convenient location,and a great overall business.

The room was spacious enough and comfortable. Casino had lots to offer. I took this trip with my husband who was playing golf all weekend. Great view from the 12th floor. Make sure to plan ahead to get the best rate. Was not recognised as a loyalty member at checkin. No smiles whatsoever. Free self or valet parking. It's located right on the river and it is right off the main boulevard. Easy check in and out. Management needs to FIX THIS! Wifi is spotty and intermittent throughout the hotel. The buffet is WAY over priced, don't even bother. She was very attentive and helpful. The carpets are stained, lumpy, and need to be completely replaced. We are thrilled to see that we are your first choice, and we can't wait to see you again. I hope they will install check-in automatic kiosks in the future. Although free, it does add some time to your check in/out.
Staff were friendly though. There is nothing wrong with an older crowd mind you - but if you are expecting something similar to LV, it's just not. Coffee in the room was fair at best. Thanks Aquarius for a wonderful vacation.
Nice looking hotel. A room next to the parking garage one saturday night was too loud. The dog didn't bark or react to you or your security at all. This time was disappointing. Im not a prude but at least do it in a smoking room, I don't want to smell ur crap! I would certainly stay at this place again, friendly staff and nice comfortable rooms. I was also pleased to see there were specific staff members on the floor cleaning and disinfecting machines. Ridiculous. Our room was nicely appointed and the lighting in the bathroom was good. at all attractive; I think something in a light gray or blue-gray would have been a much better choice.

Got an invite to come back for 2 nights. Also unappealing was the site in the morning of all the birds pecking away at the dead bugs that had met their demise on the spotlights the evening before. A room for 4 people only had coffee service for two. Totally shocked and disgusted therefore checked out a day early as we are Senior Citizens and do not want to stay in an establishment where this happens. She was selling people at our table her tee-shirt making business, as well as few other ventures she is currently engaged in. I stay in Vegas on the strip for less than that! While my kids were playing on the floor I noticed a pill. The buffet is closed. REALLY??? The drain in the bathtub did not work, the water was stopped up and the shower fixture was riddled with hard water buildup. The upper floors hallways were somewhat dated. Rooms are very comfortable; no complains in this area whatsoever! We tried to check in before dinner but their check-in system crashed. Great employees: Betty the dealer, the dealer from Texas (great accent), the hispanic blackjack dealer with a great mustache (sorry, can't remember his name).
In fact due to the service and food we ate there a second time.
You must make reservations anywhere you eat and we got the breakfast package, which was a good deal. It was difficult to book a room, and sitting down for a meal meant waiting in line for awhile. We took the river taxi and used the day pass to visit the other casinos. As for the buffet, it did not live up to its past history. We have both felt sick most of the night. We just recently stayed twice at this property. Aquarius has the best looking casino floor out of all Laughlin casinos. Smokey of course. It was really annoying. Being a front Office Manager in the past, I feel she has the people skills to succeed in this industry due to her excellent customer service and professionalism . It's an older casino hotel likely built in the 80s, but has been kept up .
Not enough technology plugs and an old TV set and a pretty poor bed. From our valet when we arrived and the bellman Chuckdid not get everyone's name to check in and check out America our visit was great. Front desk and valets were friendly, but that was it! Bed was not the most comfortable that I have had but was satisfactory. I'm giving you my money. We make this a destination stop on our annual trip to and from Seattle. Morning All, This hotel/casino is a great 3.5hr trip from Phoenix and has 4 things that make this a great place to stay. We booked 4 king-bedded, non-smoking rooms in the California, adults only tower with a river view. Nice visit, everyone nice.. making reservations ok, never get an email confirmation. I was going with my girlfriend so I wanted something a little nicer so I paid a little extra for a newer resort in Laughlin (Aquarius). We went up the wrong way and we're told next time go in this way. Great stop over before hitting Vegas. My shower drain doesn't work and after three days of asking someone to come fix it, I'm on three nights of showering in standing water. The room I stayed in was fairly clean. It took us 25 min on a Monday..We had dinner at Outback and they were really quite snarly and to top everything off, there was only one 5 dollar blackjack table available and it was slammed.. If you craned your neck, maybe! This is NOT HOSPITALITY. I tried using my phone with data and still service was terrible in the hotel. The valet and the check in staff were professional and very helpful. We can get a smoking room with a king bed or a room with 2 queens. We recently spent two nights at the Aquarius and I have to say that for the money, it's a pretty decent place to stay. Oh, it does have a Subway, and a McDonalds. Yikes! We switched rooms for the second night. ; It served up typical Outback Steakhouse food. Cove restaurant with appetizers and pizza was very good. Our suite was very well appointed and cared for.Lots of hot water, very comfortable beds, Ample room to move around. They said they where having problem due to the water issue. I think my title says it best. If you go to the corner of the room and get on your tip toes you might see some water. We found the Aquarius completely acceptable and would reccomend staying there. The bed was comfy the room is spacious and pretty quiet all night. It took us an hour and a half to check in because there were three desk attendants yet there were approximately 15 check in counters. Compared to Vegas, Laughlin is much more laid back and relaxed. We visited the Aquaious with another couple for the weekend. You'll have to vacate the room immediately. The hotel carpet was dirty and there were huge, some mangy dogs all around the casino and everywhere (one of them was crippled). As soon as we get our room we find out that the cable and wifi aren't working. Casino had good payouts, cocktail service was always there, rewards staff went above and beyond as we were given free play credits and actually won playing for free. How about a smile instead of such a sour puss. Many new games. Needs some renovations. huge room on 17th floor overlooking pool & river. The staff here friendly; didn't have any issues with the help. I did have an amazing view of the Colorado river from my window. Our room was clean, but the room needs renovating, especially the bathroom. Don't get there later than 8:30 though. Followed up again via email - response below. I go to Laughlin at least yearly and usually stay at the Aquarius. using the free 1mbps is worse than dial up (for those that remember that) The casino air filters are way outdated.
