I already had Rosa Verde in my collection, so when I smelled Versense, I was like come on. Although I don't think it is similar to Chance Eau Fraiche I like to use it as its counterpart in summer.
I saw people compared this to Chance au Tendre but it reminds me more of the original DKNY Be Delicious. It is beautiful.
For me one of the bests! Could not detect any florals or pear for that matter.
I hadnt worn any type of scent in about 8 years, and this was my reintroduction into the perfume world- definitely a great way to start it out again! I was looking for an alternative to light blue style scents and also didn't want anything sweet and fruity. Only one or two sprays does it with Versace Versense, which projects well on my skin even in winter, more than that might offend others exercising near me. Something that is even a bit coconutty, though I don't think it is among the notes. citrus woody scent, it feels like zesty sparkles in sunlit woods lol.. Literally nothing bad to say about this juice. After 30 mins, the scent will become a floral citrus combo. If you have one of the two, you don't need the other. It's very special. Cedar, clean musk, sandalwood, frankincense. It can be worn at office as well. I was so disappointed because they are almost the same thing. Absolutely adore this. I was not very impressed though: it is a nice citrus, but it reminds me of a scented dish soap. Versace outdid themselves with this one. Maybe Versense will be it, I don't know it for sure, but I can sense the flowers here, though quiet silent and gentle.
Fresh and clean for the summer. It still smells very modern, despite coming out around 15 years ago. I like some of Versace's fragrances, mostly the ones for men. It's my favorite from Versace and one I wear in spring and summer. I recently started to consume a lot of lime juice. Even though I prefer the Rosa Verde, I think Versense is more of a safe blind buy since it's more inoffensive and less loud. I absolutely love this fragrance. Its a citrus bomb, and more on the lemon side. The scent as a whole its an inoffensive, pleasant mix of notes. And that is what it stays like throughtout the day. Super citrusy and refreshing. This was a blind buy, diamond in rough. I can't enjoy it cause to me it smells just like a lemon scented dish soap, or some natural bath product. This has been reformulated. And the sound of crickets. Versense is a great fresh scent! Like an elegant woman, sitting on the coast, her lily perfume intertwining with the scents of the sea and trees. This. A summer fragrance, for sure! Fig LEAF. Even in the drydown. WRONG. 
+ lilac flower (variety that has bigger flowers) + trace of violet?. Nice, but nothing special, smells like a watered down version of "acqua di gioia fraiche". On another one of my blind-buy adventures, I stumbled upon Versense and she is a hidden gem. Im also not stingy because its very affordable. It got some floral nuances that the male version lacks, but it gives it a little more dept and personality. It is citrusy. A very elegant and fancy fragrance. The fig, cardamom and musk come in and even it out. This is a great dupe for Chance Eau Fraiche at a fraction of the price, so if you have a tight budget, Id say buy this instead, its great stuff.
It is that damn good. But absolutely zero awful patchouli. I usually do better with bergamot with its floral nuances than orange/lemon (which strike me as household cleaner) so this was promising offering, but unfortunately it's a little too in the same vein of Light Blue for my preferences. What a lovely surprise - the nice scent of herbs and citruses, not too sweet, very clean and refreshing. Decent sillage not extremely long lasting but more than 4 hours. I will never get sick of it. To me, this could easily pass for a unisex scent but you have to make a mental decision to be comfortable wearing it, no doubts. I think Ive just found an all time favorite!! It is a summer scent so the sweetness will not suffocate you. Customer service personnel never really addresses your concerns, and how could they? Versense is a walk in a fragrant garden, which contributes to freshness and a stream of feelings, as well as to self-esteem and vitality. The fig, bergamot, pear, and florals are so balanced to such a bright effect, and the woody, musky undertones round it out to this incredibly fresh but sensual experience that I keep coming back to.
After two wears, though, I get a soft floral with a shampoo-y or lotion-y vibe and not much else. Nice option for summer and beach! As a man, Im always looking for the next best scent. On me, it smells super-generic like laundry sheets or hand soap, one that says "Fresh Green" or "Green tea & verbena" :( Yuck. This is obviously of higher quality but just a thought! This is one I have to put on immediately before dressing and by the time I get to work, it's dried down to a really lovely, clean, and warm scent. Better than any summer fragrance in my collection! EDT Versace Versense is available in amounts of 30, 50 and 100ml (1, 1.7 and 3 oz) edt. Unfortunately, it is more of a skin scent on me and only lasts a few hours.
I am partial to more natural scents and white flowers and green notes rather than any other fruit or gourmand notes. Longevity is a good 9 hours, projection is moderate, not to loud, but not weak either. Gorgeous fresh spring/summer scent. What a great deal for such an unexpectedly beautiful fragrance. The bottle is elegant and the Juice is a calming pastel green..The opening blast is a beautiful, juicy, slightly sweet lime/citrus with a touch of floral.
I really love this coming from Versace, my fav house. A good choice for either gender as a work place scent or an everyday casual scent. My favorite summer fragrance. I bought this for summer a few years ago and wore it all the time.
It straight up seduces me. A citrusy bergamot-fig with a woody dry down? This perfume is something special. Always reach for it during summer/spring. I'm a gourmand lover usually and was trying to find something fresh and light for summer and work. So crisp, so clean- a summer dream. I have gotten so many compliments already. This is gorgeous! Definitely unisex. Pear joins, and the top becomes slightly coarse, like its granular, almost floral, saccharine texture against the tongue. It was my summer signature for several seasons. Definitely a unisex offering, bought this cheap for 30mL and very much worth it. It's not a bad scent, just not one I would like to wear on myself. :). I wish I got more of the wood notes. It is coloured in light green, it is luxurious and decorated with traditional Versace symbols. Chance by Channel on the other hand ( the green one) is a bit masculine.. Im in love with it. I hate D&G Light Blue and I was hoping to find a tolerable citrus scent (plus the bottle, the green juice, I wanted it on my vanity!). This opened beautifully with sharp, bright, tangy, refreshing, mood-lifting citrus, and I thought, just for an instant, that I might have finally found "the one" (at least as regards a wearable spring/summer fragrance, that is).
I purchased this today and I want to do an immediate review. (Not powdery or soapy.) There's also a creaminess that gives me a lime-cream or key lime pie feelingwhich I love. So beautiful and elegant, a refreshing green perfume with Mediterranean character. I still really like it. That's the issue I have with a lot of Versace scents: they smell like scented chemicals to me; some are very nice, but chemicals nonetheless. Base notes leave a cover of woody accords of sandalwood, cedar, olive wood and sensual musk. I'll be trying it again when the weather warms up in spring and hoping for the bergamot, fig, and sandalwood notes that others are getting. It wears like a body splash, unfortunately. ITS NOT JUST FOR WOMEN!!!
Fresh, white floral and strong citrusy scents sound so tempting to me in any perfume description after purchasing this. Then this has arrived and I am SO happy. Just tested this and it's a clean, citrusy scent. So Italian. I'll wear it out to see if that changes :) I keep coming back to smell it, which is a good sign. Versense is a fragrance for men. That quickly fades into soft florals. Literally one of my all time favourite scents.
I did not have the same experience! 19 fan). Its just enough to balance out the tartness of the tart citrus opening. I sprayed Versense on one arm and Rosa Verde on the other. I also think skin chemistry plays a role in this one because my skin turns everything sweet.
Another fragrance that lasts only 5 minutes or so. sounded perfect! Bought it the next day, wearing it right now and enjoying every minute of it. so fresh and elegant. not unisex at all in my opinion. Good one! Like a warm summer day by sea while eating a juicy orange, or crossing some small streets in Athens during spring evening (even though spring evenings smell rather sweet in Athens). It is a pleasant and uplifting zesty goodness in the opening with understated floral and woody notes in the dry down. My friend was cleaning out her perfume drawer and gave it to me, and when I sprayed it on my hoodie I purposely wouldnt wash the hoodie for DAYS. Its very appropriately green color. I can hardly smell it after a few hours but it obviosly does linger. Versace Versence and Prada Infusion D'iris will always be in my rotation of fragrances. It's dewey and green and just a little sweet. I don't find the sillage overpowering and longevity is decent. It reminds me of a dark cloudy day at the beach with the sun slightly shining through the dark clouds. On my skin, this is a laundry powder fresh, fruity fragrance. Lemon, bergamot, grapefruit, black pepper, cardamom, anise, mimosa, freesia, linden, geranium, pear lemongrass. I'm sure I'm smelling cucumber here too. The bergamot smacks you in the face along with that ginger after one spray. It is a shame that this is discontinued. If you love cool green floral and slightly spicy, this will be your jam!. I had this a while back, so way back I couldn't even recall how it smelled and I generally can recall perfumes in my memory. Versace Man Eau Fraiche is almost identical to Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue for Her, which I also take from my girl's collection from time to time. Nicely balanced fruits and flowers - refreshing, yet it has a (grounded?) It makes me feel clean and uplifted. The scent was just lovely at this point, softly green, delicately musky, and with a sandalwood base. This is best fit for summers.
Fragrantica Inc, United States. I just got this for wearing this spring, I tested it today and i really enjoy the fresh, juiciness of this scent. That's what I mostly smell. A spring summer fragrance with moderate sillage and longevity. Creamy, luscious lily. This will be my summer go to, also a lovely out of the shower/ bed time fragrance in my opinion :). Goshh this is one of my favorite women's fragrances. I hadn't heard of this fragrance before and I really like it. Great for just running errands or being at home. I love it, I miss it, I want it. And while shopping in the drugstore, remembering how I had just a few ml of Chanel eau frache and how this was recommended as similar, I sprayed it on my wrist, thinking how I never got that similarity. Versense is a clean fresh fragrance that is good for springtime. I live in a hot, humid climate (New Orleans) and can tell you that Versense has prompted more compliments from people than anything I have worn, ever. It smells very pretty, fresh and airy, slightly sweet with citrus and woods. If you try it and it immediately goes stale soap, I recommend not scrubbing it and seeing how it develops for you. I think this may smell great on men too. Nice to have in one's collection because it is versatile. The sillage is super strong and it stays as a sharp, green, almost spicy bergamot. I'm giving it a full wear test today so I'll update you on projection & longevity. Your cue is being constantly fuddled with, you either receive perfumes you've never picked, or none at all. I love the sandalwood dry down and the fig and cardomom. I get something slightly reminiscent of Lemon Pledge for the first 5 minutes. Versense was part of a 5-piece Versace mini perfume set I received as a gift. It is my best citrus perfume. also, this is worth the money. Sharp, fresh and clean. This use to be the best scent ever, before they decide to turn it into lemonade, so sad.. On me, and to my nose, Versense smells fresh, woody and spicy. I did 5 sprays that morning, btw. Love it, hope it'll be on the market for many years to come. Judicious calone! Versense manages to be very fresh and very natural-smelling without the obvious citrus or aquatic notes of many fresh scents. Citrus is in the forefront, and the woods and white florals elevate it. It is zesty with a bit of green notes and florals. Its slightly woody and floral and turns a bit sweeter as it warms up on the skin. You wont regret it. Helps aid seasonal depression because I definitely feel better wearing this during the wintry blues. Alittle bit sweet, in the drydown. Clean. It would have been a good blind buy. Read about this perfume in other languages: Deutsch, Espaol, Franais, etina, Italiano, , Polski, Portugus, , , Nederlands, Srpski, Romn, , , , . however, there's something about it that just doesn't sit right on my skin. I really, really like it. Not a lot of sweetness though. The cedar gives it a little substance. This scent is so sexy. I highly recommend it. I smell only bergamot (like a HUGE chunk of it is just bergamot) and maybe some jasmine with some sour citrus. I had this on my want list because I loved the notes and luckily found it on sale. notes. Just blind bought a bottle and received it today. it opens with a blast of citrus (lemon) and it infuses the floral note, white floral i believe, which make it very nice and sensual. Lily is the same as in Gucci Bamboo.
It opens up sweet green, I get a green jujube vibe at first, that mellows down quickly to a soft green, very slightly sweet (the pear?) Poor sillage and longevity. Masterpiece I would say! Airy, cheerful, confident, fresh.
Gone completely in 3. Will have to buy a back-up bottle, I love it so much.
Scent! I love cardamom and as a middle note here, it gives a beautiful soapy tone. Wearing it today..(I'm a guy) and it's definitely a Unisex scent. Flacon of this perfume is made of see-through glass, created just like its antecedent from 2008, Versace. 
- Product advertisement. This is very different from a lot of women's scents out there today. Versense smells so good - I love the combination of sweet and fresh in the opening. I have a small 5 mL bottle, but I dont think I will get a full bottle because I have Light Blue. Very clean, citrusy opening. Yes, thats how close you gotta get to smell it unfortunately. Perfect. A mood changer indeed! I actually enjoy this more than the male counter part. They're roughly the same cost so I will stick to my Valentino. It was unique I thought. The problem is that it doesnt last AT ALL. Nicely balanced and pleasant musk in the dry-down. I love citruses and figs but there is too much of them in here. The opening is pure citrus with bergamot being the highlight. It is light and pleasant, I think it is a safe blind buy. Could still get whiffs around the 4-5 hour mark. Long lasting for an EDT. This smells so lovely clean, fresh, citrusy, and ever so slightly green. That is much more distinctive than this.
Bottle is gorgeous and I'm tempted to get the signature, just so I can display them together. The fragrance Versace Versense is composed of natural tones and it is a picture of awakening of nature, evoking feeling of freedom, movement and balance of internal energy with surroundings and nature. LIME UPON LIME is what this fragrance is about. I don't usually love Versace's fragrance DNA, but this DNA with these notes works. Its very nice and quite strong for a EDT. it is not on the US official site. Its composition opens with fruit of the Mediterranean: bergamot and green mandarin, and wraps you with freshness and luminous, optimistic accords with irresistible fig zests. That said this scent is mine all mine and love the citrus blast it gives, the performance is there as well for being a citrus freshie. I feel like I cannot get enough of it.it's mad.
It smells clean and luxurious, but in an adventurous and vibrant way. When I first sprayed this, my eyes literally crossed it smells that good. Blind bought because of claims of it being potentially unisex and a fig scent. Witness the spray of incandescence, sparkling in the air before anointing skin and surfaces with the most photo-realistic lime notes. I guess it's conventionally a warm weather scent, but I can imagine it as fitting and soothing also during winter. I own both and to me They smell very differently. It then hovers between the fig and what I think must be the olive tree, in a beautiful creamy, green halo. The right amount of citrus, woods, flowers, spice, fruit, and just a hint of musk. And the drydown is warm and soft wood, a little dry, olive bark left in the warm Mediterranean sun. My heart immediately fell and I figured my blind buy was a bust. The citruses are strong in this one and they're very sharp and sour. Unfortunately, that citrus goodness fades and I start to get a drydown that is reminiscent of many mainstream synthetic fragrances: a sharp, bitey, and somewhat bitter mess. I can't detect the individual floral notes but combined with the cardamom and woody notes in the base they work so well. Clean and fresh with an herbal woodiness. the citrus top notes makes you smile, it is like reminscing good happy memories (a very good vibes. On me, this lasts for more than 8 hours and this is super affordable. Ladies, how would you like this on a man? This is a very disappointing fragrance for women and ridiculously overpriced considering its very light smell and weak longevity, if you buy this you are really just buying the brand name. It reads a little green, as well as citrus floral, but not anywhere as green as Chanel 19 or Mugler Aura, for example. Fresh and zesty, although I wouldn't classify the zestyness here particularly citrusy. However, after 3 hours of wear, it becomes heavier on the pear note and smells like Dior J'adore or Bond No 9 Astor Place! Longevity is very poor. I bought me a very small bottle. This is one of my dumb reach perfumes. I've worn it several times since, with always the same scent progression. My sons love Versense. It is bordering on the kitchen cleaner synthetic lemon smell though.
At one point I will buy a very fresh fragrance, especially to use it in the hot summer days. where I am. It smells like a more strong Light Blue but with tons of lasting power on me. Semi sweet, fresh, woody citrus. Very clean, light and happy. I bought it when I was just out of school, and still have it, because I started using perfumes daily only recently, so I have a lot of years this being my only scent, and still being used a lot. It layers very well with the lotion if you can find it. Its one of my signatures. After a couple times of wearing, I got used to the citrus opening. May be results like an exprensive cologne but inofensive. Few years ago, i gor this perfume to Christmas from my boyfriend.
The most comforting of musk enters at last, and serenades sleepy narcissus. Personally, I have worn this fragrance for about 8 years - perhaps more. That's Versense. This is a beautiful, not at all artificial lemon scent with woody undertones, to me. Unaware it will soon be halved, exposing a sensual magenta interior ready to be emptied of its sweetly verdant flesh. If you are looking for a casual, non offensive fragrance you won't want to pass this gem up. I think I wouldn't even recognize it if someone passed by wearing this perfume. I do think this would be a great scent on a man. by no means is it an unpleasant smell; it's very well blended and uplifting! Green but sweet. This scent is masculine and different to most fragrances on the market for women- it could easily pass for unisex in my opinion. The drydown is a bit shampooey, but nice. Well what can i say.. My second a full 100ml bottle LOVE it. Weakish, but nice! I am getting a lot of indistinctive citrus and synthetic woods in this one. Imagine Crystal Noir stripped of gardenia, amber and ginger- Keep everything else but tone down the spices. It is not particularly unique but it is just blended so well to my nose.
