Food reminds more on a student cantina rather than a 4star hotel- breakfast - everything fried, cereals only with sugar ( you know those in different colors) - everything very poor quality and variety is very limited. As a taxi driver I recently drop of and picked up tourist passengers. Curaao isn't big, but it's 1h by car to get to Kenepa Grandi and the nice beaches from northeast. Great location. These bungalows are beautifully designed, pool-front, and have so much potential if only they would provide A/C throughout. - The guy from the lobby is not kind at all. As soon as you arrive at this all-inclusive resort, you are brought into a tropical paradise that guests of all ages will enjoy. This is the crme de la crme of planning apps!

Very friendly staff. She was the opposite. Lunch was delicious, stuffed portobello. Food/drinks are a little on the pricier side but the quality and taste is very good. Be sure to bring your own soap and shampoo as they only provide a wall dispenser of soap that's intended to be used to wash head to toe. It feels like a true vacation. Service was excellent, and BijBlauws menu offered the most creative vegan/vegetarian options weve enjoyed in Curacao. This site and app let me do all the planning for our 15 day trip in a little over 6 hours! Now it is a vacation which means its important for the parents to have a little bit of fun too! Airco worked well and sheets were clean. But dinner menu was completely generic (except for plenty of seafood) and the only thing really local in breakfast or dinner menu was patacones (mashed and fried plantains). -Bungalows are definitely lacking in upkeep with many noticeable areas needing cleaning (especially grout) and paint touchups. -Restaurant food is okay but overpriced. This hotel is a real gem and we find it very sad that every time that we return back we found that the quality of the hotel is deteriorating very fast. We found out they had a QR code so we didnt need to wait in line. The staff were all so wonderful and treated us like family, from the doormen to the front desk staff and all of the food & bar staff!! Like I said earlier, Curaao has some beautiful beaches located around the island, but one of my favorites was the Grote Knip. The bed is very comfortable, the AC is effective and it's right in town. Lot of green! Some Bayside Boutique Hotel - Blue Bay rooms have a sea view. Currently sitting on the couch in our gorgeous hotel room, well apartment. So, there was a wedding there the same date we arrived, we were told 2 restaurants were going to be closed, all good, however we got to one of the available restaurants, and we waited over an hour just to be seatedand we were the ONLY ones in line, all because they were swamped with the people already eating, and there was not enough staff to clean tables, serve and cook so, the first dinner was a disaster. Clean, neat rooms. Staff was very helpful. I would probably look for a place around downtown or the northwest, if I could choose (this was a trip package with surprise hotel of sorts). Room cleaning frequently left just us 2 towels for a family of 4. -They give you pass to the beach and free parking as well as good wifi. The rooms and the resort were super clean. The Sunscape Curacao Resort Spa & Casino offers an outdoor pool, a sauna and a free town centre shuttle service. We got shaded lounge chairs, swam in the pool, and snorkeled right outside the surf break. We picked the room with a pool on our balcony since it was our honeymoon and highly suggest! The service was magnificent and we felt welcomed all throughout our stay. Just very comfortable to enjoy the good life in the Caribbean sun. Think twice before booking. Bad things: Beauty villas with a wonderful infinite pool overlook at the Piscadera Bay. Our biggest issue is that we have a credit on our account that, upon checkout, they told us we'd receive once we provided our account information. Organizing a Covid test was terribly ridiculous. This luxury, eco-friendly resort features four restaurants, three outdoor pools, fitness and spa facility and Ocean Encounters premier dive shop. However, the hotel has room to improve. The common facilities were very nice. A few negatives but nothing major that impacts your stay. Staff go out if their way to ensure that you enjoy your stay.
Unfortunately we tested positive for covid 3 days after arriving to the resort. They claimed their staff checked the guests ID (the guests were 2 men and I am a woman) and sent receipts NOT signed with my name to my bank.
But staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Rooms seem to be too small, bed in my room was two single beds placed together, so you can,'t sleep in the center. Very close to the Jan thiel beach. The gym was great for being on vacation but not a lot of heavy weights. - You will need the maintenance guy: our apartment had no wifi box, and the lock didnt work. Very strange place. We have stayed at many Marriott properties over the years and this is now one of our absolute favorites!! This property is a 3 minutes' walk away from the beach, where have their own two beach clubs: Cabana Beach and Mood Beach. Excellent customer service. Each bright apartment and studio features natural colors and wood-beamed ceilings. Growing up, I never was given the chance to travel outside of the United States. Bring your own soap because there is none in the rooms. The only negatives are the fact that smoking is allowed on balconies, and because the structure of the building if someone is smoking a few balconies over it'll smell like smoke on the entire floor for a while. I've read many of the same complaints about the garden bungalows as I've outlined above; however, I will say that reviews for the oceanfront condos definitely sound much better. The negative (4 instead of 5 stars) is that the guests service is not really up-to-par for a luxury resort. It features free Wi-Fi, a furnished terrace with swimming pool. Reception was nice. One of the people in our party has an auto-immune disorder and the chef was INCREDIBLY accommodating of her dietary restrictions. On a positive note the pools were nice and everyone we met here was very friendly. Checked in and within 20 minutes I checked out and went to stay at another hotel. The chef came and met with her personally upon our arrival and discussed with her the foods that she can and cant eat. Nice and quiet and peaceful if you want to have downtime. -extra update: just found a mouse in the lobby! Day pass was a great value. LionsDive Beach Resort is set on a private beach within the National Curacao Underwater Park. The beach is a joke. The hotel price is unreasonably high and not in proportion to the poor hotel quality. My bathroom was way too small, and the A/C did not work properly, heard this same complaint from other guests around. They never replenished our toilet paper while here or mini bar without requesting.

Fantastic place, delicious food. The hotels casino and 24-hour Dennys are a popular draw for locals, and are also active reminders that youre at a budget-minded property. Acoya is a beautiful spacious clean hotel/resort. I wish I can include videos of the scenes that are happening every day- bunch of birds- including pigeons are on the tables, eating leftovers- which brings a question of hygiene!!! Stay elsewhere! Overall exceptionally clean with refreshing AC. The food was fresh and tasty. - Furniture is a little damaged - the corners of the rattan chair are sort of broken so he careful as your clothes might get caught there and tear, or your skin! Planning travel has actually been fun instead of tedious because of this app. The resort also has other dining options that guests can reserve time slots for. Curaao is also the home to a lot of wildlife- one of them being flamingos which I had a chance to see while on an island tour- making this the perfect destination for any family to try! They are going through some financial problems not paying bills.

Spacious villas in a well landscaped gated resort. BijBlauw is located over the seafront, 10 minutes walk from Willemstads Historic Centre and 4 km from Curaao Sea Aquarium. The LionsDive Beach Resort provides guests with numerous amenities and facilities. Avila Hotel features an outdoor pool and state-of-the-art fitness center. *The pools could be a bit warmer. The positives: water park is pretty good and for all ages.

The only issue is that there isn't an option to have 1 King or even Queen size bed in a studio. If you are on a budget this place will be great for you. You'll want to enjoy in the hotel, but don't forget to rent a car for a few days to see around Curacao. My 1 and only complaint is that the food wasn't very good at the resort. During my stay, I had the opportunity to try the resorts Tavern Seafood Restaurant which had some delicious seafood options and a beautiful view of the ocean to admire during your meal. The water is clear, the weather so nice, and the staff members were beyond helpful and friendly. - Air conditioning is only in the bedroom. The activities desk can provide arrangements for a variety of tours and activities, including scenic mountain bike tours. Seriously, this app does it all!

For the price, it's a great room. The resort offers an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, evening entertainment and a 24-hour front desk. If there is something to mention it must be the breakfast. Sta. They are building a pier behind the hotel so you get to hear a hydraulic hammer pound steel pipes into the sea floor all day long. Head down to the water and enjoy a day at the private beach, or take advantage of other recreational amenities including a casino and a health club. Thats why the resort also offers babysitting services (at an additional cost) so parents can go out and relax without having to worry about watching over the kids. 5 stars easily!
When you stop by the office, they don't have any answers and "will get back to you after contacting management." There are shutters throughout for open air; HOWEVER, this is no help as there is absolutely zero breeze plus an insane amount of mosquitoes. Waterboiler with coffe/the. Recommended. A flat-screen TV and a seating area are standard in every room.
I enjoyed the property, the tranquility and the closeness to everything, I loved the beach in the property and the water slide.

A beautiful beachfront property in Willemstad, Sunscape Curacao Resort Spa & Casino is a wonderful family-friendly accommodation. I would like eggs and brown bread in addition. If you have some adventurous little ones in the group, you have to head over to the Aqua Park on the resort which has six waterslides and is the home of the popular King Cobra waterslide that, from personal experience, is the best slide of them all and is a must try for all visitors. Food and drink were good. I surely reccomend it for your Stay on the Island. Since then Corendon purchased the hotel, gave it a whole new look and in July 2020 the Mangrove Beach Resort Corendon Curaao All-Inclusive Resort opened its doors. Our balcony overlooks the ocean, a infinity pool, and a restaurant of wonderful friendly staff. Staff is phenomenal-very friendly and helpful.

It is right next to the Advent Hospital. I recommand absolutely this Hotel! Great view. Good working airco and fridge. But the pool is nice and also the restaurant. Loved it here! Definitely take some time to spend at this beach no matter where you are staying on the island - it was beautiful and we saw many tropical fish while snorkeling; however, the cons DEFINITELY outweighed the pros: Rooms were nice.
There is an outdoor pool that is available for guest use for free, and it has a shallow end, which means that even your kids can have a great time splashing around. STAFF- friendly and kind- but completely disorganized. You have the absolute Caribbean feeling.
Never stayed at this hotel Sunscape Curacao Resort Spa & Casino Willemstad is a 10-minute drive away from Jan Thiel Beach and features an infinity pool, an outdoor swimming pool and a sunbathing terrace. The entertainment left a bit to be desired as well, though in the end this didn't really matter a lot. If you do not feel like leaving the resort there is plenty to do also.
