Even if they smell nice, they last all of 5 minutes, literally! And you can pick up the notes of rice and coconut, I mostly use it in the winter. On my mother, it is mostly a nice warm vanilla musk. It is a frag that will elicit compliments from most people. This is one that I get consistently told you smell so good! Its warm and cozy and reminds me of Fall.Its very sweet but dries down clean.Its like the comfort food of fragrances.I particularly love the body butter and eau de parfum version~ very rich and decadent. Fresh baked cookies! Health & Beauty Farm Wake-Up Body Wash (early/mid90s). Enough sandalwood and musk for a smooth, creamy drydown, but VANILLA is the star from top to bottom. Used to love the old formula. Very nice and comforting. This can easily be shared with a boyfriend, as it's a little 'darker' and more masculine on him, but not overpowering. Very nice. I really liked it before they changed the formula, it used to be very authentic and calming but now it's just turned into a very alcohol sort of fake vanilla. I would not consider this an upper class scent. It has new, improved packaging! Im from Australia and I just brought the body mist version of this perfume for $25 and I think its extremely over rated. Or freshly baked cookies and a warm drink! Oh my god, this stuff is SO sweet! For me the coconut is strong, which gives it a little more intrigue than you'd otherwise expect. if you have another vanilla smell that just needs a kick extra of warmth, pick this up for layering! (It was the only one I thought was appealing at the time, and it was pretty inexpensive.) I love it and buy it regularly.
I also use the warm vanilla sugar shower gel which is quite amazing. If you have one of the first ones, enjoy! It turned out to be a really nice combination! This is definitely not a warm, rich vanilla and personally I don't think it's worth buying when there are so many amazing vanilla-based fragrances out there. It's a musky, sugary sweet vanilla sandalwood and rice..the sugar and rice nuances is really what makes the vanilla pop so irresistibly. What happened to the other notes? I can always apply a different scent over it later without any blending issues. Sweet. This fragrance has been a favorite of mine for many years. Amazing fragrance. good stuff! Also, the new perfume smells different than the old version, and I like the old better, I must say. That being said my memories of the old scent from when I was a kid still linger (utterly heartbreaking lol). One of the best scents at B&BW.
This vanilla scent to me smells MUCH better than Vanilla Lace by VS (which smells like plastic vanilla) but it's not my type of scent so I still won't purchase. Very unappealing. Warm Vanilla Sugar (WVS)is my all around favorite BBW Scent especially for Autumn/Winter. I will always love the smell but I really only use the shampoo, conditioner and shower gel now!!! It stays with you for hours, it's simply a delight, one of the best vanillas for me out there. Liked as a teenager, but prefer other vanillas. I have the lotion and the body spray, but haven't tried the EDT. Especially on a cool fall day. so this is my new fave yumm vanilla scent which kindda reminds me of baked goods, a lil chocolate and a very yumm vanilla. It lasts probably around 2 hours on me, but its understandable considering its a body mist after all. I thought this would be right up my street & hunted ebay for it (Im in the UK), I finally managed to get the body mist version, I was sooo excited to receive it - & I can`t smell it! It does smell a bit bakery-like, though. Very sweet, but also a little grainy. It smells a bit like freshly baked sugar cookies. I can't find the article now. It's the warmest, cuddliest scent i can think of off the top of my head. Otherwise, I would not bother. I am a nurse, and find it perfect to wear alone as a work scent (florals/heavy scents/silage monsters are no-go as they can bother patients). I definitely smell the sandalwood and heliotrope. A little overpowering, may cause headaches. Too bad I cant find it in Australia! Was it fun to make? It has some light floral notes, vanilla, sugar, rice and musk. Maybe I should buy the matching body wash and lotion too? With fragrances featuring vanilla as the main note, I have found out (the expensive way) that it's definitely worth saving up for one really high quality perfume rather than collecting loads of drugstore cheapies. I wear this for myself - I figure comfort perfume is better for me being less calorific than comfort food! I think the perfect way to describe this fragrance is "soft". This perfume/fragrance has all the notes for something very warm and delicious and when it first came out it was but it isn't anymore. Yummy! I finally decided to give it a try. The quality went down on warm vanilla sugar along with others. This to me smells to friendly, too basic to be sexy..if I couldn't afford hypnotic poison I'd probably wear this at night. I own and like them both and use them interchangeably. It's very vanilla-y complimented by the smell of brown sugar. Great simple vanilla scent, warm and inviting. I love this scent!! Alas. I only bought it because it was on sale. I'm going to use this to layer probably. Great for winter. This smells nothing like vanilla, at all.
It's delicious but definitely a lot of coconut! I love to smell it on me. Can't get enough. This is my favorite go to vanilla fragrance! It is a little juvenile though, but if you're a teenager and into sweeter scents, this is right up your alley. A little floral and powdery dry down too. It is excellent for layering under different fragrances. I'm not ashamed to admit it! Lasts 4 hours. Still, it lasts long and gets me compliments every time. was expecting something that will smell like vanilla ice-cream (since its made of sugar & vanilla) but IT'S NOT LIKE THAT AT ALL !!! I totally dig this scent, it reminds me of all things that really warms the heart. Very sweet but I get a lot of coconut out of this one, to the point it reminds me more of a suntan lotion scent than a vanilla one. This is grown woman vanilla, I loved this perfume.it was a wonderful fall fragrance for me. Makes me feel cosy and comfy. Smells like there's been a reformulation. Smells like a warm sugar cookie with coconut shavings on top. Complex,long lasting,soft,warm and inviting. Even though it's not for me (doesn't really work with my body chemistry) I love how it smells on other people; very warm and cuddly. I want the EDT on this one once my body spray runs out because it is so nice!
Art Stuff DIY Glitter Gel Set, late 1990s. It's not too sweet or chemically smelling but rather warm, soothing, cozy and comfy. It's just OK. Warm Vanilla Sugar by Bath and Body Works has a bit of a cult following in the fragrance community. I was glad I had only gotten a travel size and hadn't wasted a whole lot of money on it. I used to buy and it smelled of a very dry vanilla with hints of sugar. When I went through my first major vanilla fragrance craving last fall I bought a travel sized mist of Warm Vanilla Sugar. I have the body mist with the 2019 design, and I really love it! But it does not remind me of "cupcakes" or a "bakery" scent. It's actually quite nice, just a little staid and insipid and probably perfect for someone who wants no more than a subtle skin scent. It was like someone had bottled my personality into a body mist. This is exactly the type of vanilla scent I like. Their stores are in full fall force right now. and was so embarrassed when I sniffed my hands and said, "Oh gosh, it's ME!" Pointless. So so so warm smelling. In fact I had to make cross border trips into the US to get it!!! This is more of an effortless scent that is "attractive". A constant staple in my fragrance wardrobe. It used to smell exactly like rice! So whenever I smell this on others, it brings back memories. I have positive feelings toward this scent. On the lotion and spray is pretty strong. The EDT spray layered with the body butter is enough to last me all day long, from morning to night, with good sillage the whole time. I own both the body cream and the perfume and as others have said it smells somewhat like vanilla baked goods. The only complaint I have is that it is not strong or long lasting enough to last through the day. On my skin and to my nose, this smells like lanolin (wet wipes) and calamine lotion! I remember even though the old label remained the same (the image with brown sugar cubes), the scent completely changed to something synthetic like a Warm Vanilla Sugar changeling. This is like a warm simple yet fancy sophisticated fragrance! seriously, i usually love gourmand scent, but this is just sickeningly sweet and got me a headache everytime i wear it, i try to like it,but i cant,its just too sweet,smells like burnt sugar with coconut shaving.but yea.the guys give me compliments when i wear it,maybe cos the vanilla? This scent is straight up sandalwood and rice on me. It smells absolutely delicious. However, I like it! It does smell like sugar cookies baking in the oven with a little hint of something.that hint of something makes menot dislike it much, let's put it that way. This perfume is perfect for every seasons. i love this scent. The sillage doesn't trail loudly behind you, but leaving a beckoning whisper behind you. it smells like a straight up BAKERY. In fact, I prefer the Vanilla Bean Noel, and to me, the VBNoel smells like what I thought Warm Vanilla Sugar SHOULD smell like. Thats because the original BBW splashes didnt have any. This smells quite dated to me. This fragrance smells just like vanilla and sugar. 
I love this and I have always worn the body spray. Thankfully that note is gone. Warm Vanilla Sugar smells really excellent layered under DKNY Red Delicious. :), Art Stuff, Anti-Bac, and Health & Beauty Farm products, mid-1990s - early 2000s. Warm, sugary vanilla.
Not for everyday, or summer, but more suitable for spring, fall and most of it, for winter. Again, I never would have guessed that I'd be writing this about a vanilla scent in perfume. This smells just like Sugar Vanilla by Body Fantasies. It's pretty and comforting but it doesn't last long on me so I have to respray often. I love the toasted sugar scent but it's very light and fades quickly and I thought maybe if I spray more it would last longer but nah. Its not terrible but I have better vanillas in my collection. I owned 5 bottles of the travel size body mists and have given away one so far to my Mum's friend since she loves it too.
Pretty disappointed I must say. i like vanilla and the softness surrounding with an easy to handle type scent. My bottle does not look like the current version. Theyre being sold as a lot for not a bad price. I bought this over 4 years ago and I still have a ton of it. I own the "fragrance mist" version of Warm Vanilla Sugar. Its not as classy as the Black Currant Vanilla that B&B used to sell in their Aromatherapy line. Which is amazing for a body spray. Just in the last day or so, I sprayed it again and picked up more of the wood scent.
But I think that's what sets it apart (especially at the price range) This scent reminds me of macaroons, with a little extra spice added in the mix. It appears there has been a reformulation and rice may have been removed. It really does have a warm feeling to it, almost like something vanilla just came out of the oven (but it doesn't smell like a pastry). It makes you feel like you're drinking a cup of warm black vanilla tea. Thehero product of the line was the pumpkin face mask, which looked and smelled like pumpkin pie filling. Huge vanilla and amber fan! the original vanilla vanilla by the Body Shop (like 7 years ago) was my fave plain vanilla scent but they have reformulated it and now it just smells too sweet and synthetic. Cookies catching fire in the oven. It smells like a vanilla candle or a vanilla potpourri. I am taking this back next time I go, I also prefer Vanilla Lace to this. Very warm. The spray doesn't even last two seconds anymore, either. This scent is worn proudly on the skin as such: a skin scent. I smelled the lotion and it actually wasn't too bad. It's really lovely and I never get tired of it. I don't get any powder out of this. I don't ever really use this except for maybe Thanksgiving. i guess it's supposed to bring the sexy or mystery whatever but i don't like what it does to my mind. There is a vanilla note but it is kind of overpowered by the other smells. BBW warm vanilla sugar does. Men do seem to like this one and find it sexy. It may be the coconut note they chose clashing with the vanilla noteidk. I got some bottles and I'm using them up by spraying this under almost every perfume I wear cuz I love vanilla always and it rarely messes up a frag. There isn't a wow factor or anything. When I put them on together (different arms) I seriously cannot tell them apart. It gives off a similar vanilla type note and feel. Smells great in the shower and makes the bathroom smell so nice. I wore this scent in high school. This used to be lovely before it became a cheap watered down generic version. I got a little scared at first because I don't usually like sugary scents but this is perfect! The floral notes in this keep it from being a cupcakey vanilla smell like many other perfumes that smell cheap and synthetic.. i second julieladybug, i like the VS vanilla lace more.but this is a great warm scent too,definitely for the colder seasons! I thought I hated Warm Vanilla Sugar until I smelled the body butter and the EDT. fucking. Smells yummy. She pairs it with the BBW WVS lotion. They should have never discontinued it. I'm not a fan of plain vanilla scents at all so I was surprised to smell this and actually like it a little lol! So it definitely does happen. (which is not a bad thing). Great for casual wear. On me, this is what a vanilla fragrance should smell like. My favourite from BBW so far. it's ridiculous. Like I said, the rice/sugar note really makes this unique and nice. Smells like cigarettes and garbage, heavy on the alcohol too. A little too sickly-sweet for my tastes, while simultaneously less warm than other vanilla scents. I so wanted to like Warm Vanilla Sugar. I mean its an absolute classic what more is there to say? I got the bottle with holographic swirls. This smells great on me. It is not as decadent and indulgent as Laura Mercier or Lavanila. The scent lingers all throughout the hallway. It makes it that much more cozy.
I came across this scent by accident. Warm Vanilla Sugar by Bath and Body Works is a Amber Vanilla fragrance for women. This isn't a light vanilla scent, but more of a burnt brown sugar/coconut scent. Anytime I smell this I'm reminded of being a kid and chasing vanilla body sprays so I could smell like cookies all day. I think i'll try it again! It seems like something that would have universal appeal, but it smells like chemicals to me. Can also be layered with other perfumes. To me, this smells better on a woman than any other women's fragrance I've ever smelled. I bought it yesterday, and I love it, I put some drops on my wrist and I fall in love, the smell is sweet, but not too much, is powdery and you can detect the lovely vanilla all around you and time to time the coconut appear, like saying "hello". This is gonna be my winter scent. This is good stuff. The name is a tad misleading. Smell is subtle which is to be expected of a body spray. I vaguely remember this, though I dont think it lasted long. i love the shower products for winter becuse it is so so warm. This is a basic, sweet vanilla that we adults can wear without feeling silly, though its not too grown up for teens. *shrugs* I guess the sugary aspect was pretty similar. I dont know whether I have a dud bottle or a fake but there is just nothing there to my nose. Now I think it's quite tame on the sugar, and I smell more of the warm toasted vanilla notes. So while the products may be all-NEW, the name certainly is not. Wowwas randomly scrolling through Bath and Body Works frags after someone mentioned they were good for layering with perfume, and I stumbled across Warm Vanilla Sugar. Literally the definition of warm vanilla sugar. its so cozy and warm. It never fails to add a warm softness and depth to any of my sweeter perfumes. Sometimes I like it, then other times it just smells plasticy. Simple yet warm, sweet, sexy, & cozy. I can't hardly stop wearing it. This scent is pleasant even though I really only detect the vanilla. Thats quite a story, though not outside the realm of possibility. I don't understand why this is so popular. I'm so glad. The seller didnt provide a photo of the back, but Im guessing this has a citrusy scent? for me this is such a cuddly, rainy day scent.

Nothing groundbreaking, but rather pleasant. This is a warm and rich scent. It probably smells amazing on other people and/or to other people. I find that warm vanilla sugar is an especially nice fragrance to use for layering, it's good for adding a little depth and warmth to certain perfumes. I got the lotion of it for my birthday, along with a bath sponge and a B&BW gift card. For me this scent is just as the name is. Only downside is that it doesn't last that long on your skin since it's a body mist :(.
