Please check measurements with your vessel to ensure the correct joiner size. I too, figure the ball mount will be less intrusive and more cover friendly than removing a plate every time. I too figure once it is set there wont be much or a need to change it for the summer. I just went thru this decision myself, with all the same questions and concerns. The 3D printed parts appear to be functional but the finish is coarse. For those with Pole Mounts of a different size inside diameter, customadapters (RTM3660). I do like what I see in the way the hinge mount is built for the Active Target Transducer. You must be logged in to reply to this topic. Would prefer to do it right the first time if possible. You will also need to review the amount of "degree's of travel rotation" and make sure theActiveTarget Multi-View Mount will not make contact with your pole. TheActiveTarget Multi-View Mount requires 5-3/4" of "Swing in Forward View and aprox 7-1/4" in scout view.If you are running the mount on a Turret style pole you will need to make sure the Trolling Motor shaft is in the "dead zone" area rotation (call me if you need to discuss your application!
