I managed to get the nozzle off and the can still sprayed. It was working after spraying 5 seconds thenThe nozzle is sputtering some kind of oil. Epic Fail.

I would think that it would fall of of fabrics- especially wearables. But it is a total waste of money as it is.. I called Krylon and they were very casual about the whole thing.

Recently (I bought the green, silver and most recently the twilight sky I bought two cans on sale and ask the lady at the craft shop why they were on sale and if someone had brought them back as the lid had clear packing tape around them. No glitter comes out. I keep put thinner in a jar lid or something and soak the clogged tip while I use the other.

The previous times it worked at first, then I turned it upside down and squirted to clean the nozzlethe next time I used them, they fizzed and I had to put them in the garbage can with the lid on to keep them from getting all over. I saw this product the other day at Walmart and was thinking about using it to paint some custom model car bodies.

I had the same stinking thing happen to me yesterday with the orange glitter blast! No stopping possible. I hope they will refund me my money or send me some coupons to use to make up for it. Too bad, a great idea, just not ready for prime time tv.

Like you, I tried everything I could. Kim- Id hit it with a coat or two of sealant and leave it in a well-ventilated area for 48 hours to let the vapors dissipate before using.

Im looking to a different brand. i sprayed the holder yesterday and the vapor is still strong and no i didnt put a top coat of sealant.

So when I heard that Krylon was kicking it up a notch I was super-anxious to try the Glitter Blast. Marilyn- the regular spray glitter from Krylon works just fine. any good advise is welcome thanks. It sputtered itself out and I was left with half-done project. The other products could be perfectly fine, but you know what they say, one rotten apple, can ruin the whole barrel, Hi! Acted like it is an infrequent problem when it is obviously a consistent problem. Not pleased. I spent just over $32 on the 4 cans and all I have to show for it is a half finished project.

Dont leave the tip in the thinner to long though. Sadly, the product needs work! Looks like a 30 minutes trip for me. I couldnt get the spraying to stop whatsoever.

The smell is really bad, too. just been look up reviews on krylon and not good so far ipainted some rocks with my baby girl and wanted to seal them to last forever WELL they lasted about 3 seconds they got all white gluie looking and i did what it said on the can and then it made the paint run which had been dry for over a week so so sad anybody else have this problem AND i only used one fast light spray.

You guys saved me $7. Are the new cans more reliable does anyone know? Just finished spraying a guitar with 3 cans of Citrus Dream Glitter Blast. My project was ruined and I didnt have time for another option. Glad I havent yet! When the can started to sputter, I turned it upside down and smashed it into ground (I was outside, so the cement).

Each can had minor issues with clogging, which were easily resolved by holding the can upside down and spraying for a few seconds to clear the clog as instructed on the can.

Thats not a super practical suggestion while its spewing glitter and gas at you.

I think Ill ask them for a can of normal spray paint to replace. Light coats- wait for them to dry and repeat until youve gotten the coverage you desire. Gosh looks like that wont stop spraying

For those who are only having issues the second time around, I will say that the manufacturer recommends that you hold the can upside down and spray for a few seconds to clear valve and nozzle.

It has been outside for around and an 1/2 hour. So, I was in Michaels and saw the twilight sky, in a locked cabinet, as were all the Krylon products. Wont buy this product againluckily I didnt buy the product that starts spraying and wont stop! Good luck!

I had two of four cans do the spray continuously thing, making a huge mess and ruining the wine bottles. I was spraying artificial flowers the ones 4 that i got sprayed before it clogged are awesome but i cant spend eight dollars for only 4 flowers!

I really wish it was just an in-line nozzle design with the only purpose of the nozzle being to mist the spray, rather than trying to make it all bend around 90 degrees (where the glitter can pool up) and giving it direction, with a complex mating design to prevent the nozzle from falling off while still being possible to remove because they know itll clog.

I always make sure the head is clean and turn upside down to give it a quick spray before storing again . I too thought this was going to be a great product. The glitter is beautiful!

This product is crap, which is too bad because I have another can for another project. They have just recently redesigned it and it supposed to be more reliable. Half-way through the can, it plugs and spurts out clear (sticky) liquid until it is gone.

The spray nozzles of both cans are not blocked, it wont come up out of the can right.

I have seen people paint that dont know what they are doing and part of this MAY be user error. I got 3 1/2 pine cones done before the can was unusable. 5 cans later..project ruined..my new skin color is pink glitter, Do u have to use krylon Sealer or can u use clear spray paintdoing large project ..tryin to save money..lol. Just used Starry Night last weekend to spray paint some pine cones for a Halloween project. This is an old entry, but still going strong, so why not: Rustoleum Gold Glitter paint clogtastic and the nozzle doesnt mate correctly with the cans valve so even if you manage to unclog the nozzle, you might be pressing down on it and nothing happens. Same thing here, I was so excited to use this spray for my daughter birthday, and the can would not stop spraying, what a fiasco!

Its the Glitter Blast that is so tricky.
